Refund Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
This policy applies to paid Aetherium Cloud subscriptions purchased through Paddle Checkout. It should be read together with the Terms of Service.
1. 7-day free trial
Eligible paid plans include a 7-day free trial where shown at checkout. No subscription fee is charged during the trial unless the checkout explicitly states otherwise. The subscription will automatically renew as a paid subscription after the trial unless it is cancelled before the trial ends.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel future renewals using the subscription-management options supplied by Paddle or the AetheriumOS billing experience. Cancellation prevents future charges but normally does not refund a billing period that has already started, unless required by applicable law or approved as a service remedy.
3. Refund eligibility
Refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to applicable law, the terms presented at checkout, and Paddle's applicable buyer-support and refund procedures. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded or restricted by this policy.
4. Technical or service problems
If Aetherium Cloud is materially unavailable or fails to provide a paid feature as described, contact support with the affected account and transaction information. Depending on the circumstances, the appropriate remedy may be restoration of service, service credit, partial refund, or full refund.
5. Trials and refunds
Starting or using a trial does not by itself guarantee a refund after the trial converts to a paid subscription. Cancelling before the trial ends is the normal way to avoid the first paid renewal.
6. Fraud and abuse
Refund requests connected to fraudulent payments, unauthorized use, repeated refund abuse, or deliberate violation of the Terms may be investigated and may be denied to the extent permitted by law.
7. Paddle processing
Paddle may act as the Merchant of Record and may handle payment processing, tax collection, invoicing, subscription management, and refund processing for transactions made through Paddle Checkout. Refund requests can therefore be handled through the support and receipt links provided by Paddle.
8. How to request help
For transaction-specific refund or billing assistance, use the buyer-support and subscription-management links in your Paddle receipt. For technical Aetherium Cloud problems, use the current support contact published by the AetheriumOS project. Never send passwords, authentication codes, or full payment-card details in a support request.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our billing arrangements or service changes. The current version and update date are published on this page.
