Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AetheriumOS websites, applications, Aetherium Connect, Aetherium Cloud, Aetherium Mail, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using a paid feature, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide information that is accurate and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or attempts to bypass security controls.
2. Aetherium Cloud
Aetherium Cloud provides account-based storage subject to the storage quota shown for your plan. Actual availability depends on the Service and its infrastructure providers. You may not use the Service to store unlawful content, malware, stolen data, content you do not have rights to store, or material that creates unreasonable security or abuse risks.
3. Aetherium Mail
Aetherium Mail may provide Aetherium-hosted email addresses and device-synchronized mail functionality. Mailbox data is designed to be stored locally on supported devices where possible. Temporary cloud copies may be retained while an authorized device is offline and may be removed after all enabled devices have acknowledged receipt. Temporary cloud delivery is not a substitute for independent backups.
You may not use Aetherium Mail for spam, phishing, malware distribution, unlawful content, credential theft, or automated abuse. Mail addresses and sending privileges may be subject to anti-abuse limits.
4. Plans, trials, and billing
Paid Cloud plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis as shown at checkout. Eligible paid plans may include a 7-day free trial. Any applicable trial terms, renewal date, taxes, currency, and final total are displayed during checkout.
Unless cancelled before the trial ends, a trial may convert to the selected paid subscription according to the checkout terms. After a subscription starts, renewals use the subscription price established for that subscription. A later change to public plan pricing does not automatically change an existing customer's locked subscription price unless permitted and agreed under the applicable billing terms.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel a subscription through the available billing management tools or by contacting support. Cancellation normally stops future renewals while access continues through the already-paid billing period, subject to any specific checkout terms and applicable law.
6. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by the Aetherium Cloud Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
7. Payments and payment providers
Payments may be processed by Paddle or another payment provider identified during checkout. The payment provider may process payment details and apply its own terms and privacy practices. Taxes, payment methods, currencies, and localized prices may vary by customer location.
8. Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service for maintenance, security, infrastructure changes, legal requirements, or other legitimate operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or lossless retention of data. You should keep independent copies of important files.
9. Intellectual property
You retain rights to content you upload or send, subject to the rights needed for us and our service providers to host, transmit, process, secure, and deliver that content in order to provide the Service. AetheriumOS branding, software, and service materials remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Security and prohibited conduct
You may not probe, attack, reverse engineer security controls, abuse APIs, evade rate limits, impersonate another user or device, send abusive email traffic, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
11. Data and privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Cloud and mail data may also be processed by infrastructure providers used to operate the Service.
12. Disclaimers and limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service, subject to mandatory legal rights and any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Contact
For support, billing, refund, or legal requests, use the current contact method published by the AetheriumOS project. Do not send passwords, authentication codes, or payment card details by email.
